Developmental Discourse is an intertwined one straddled with innumerable complexities and the inherent co-relational & contrasts within.
Every now and then we see a lot of Media Uproar over the Release of one or the other Global Reports pertaining to one or the other Indices of Development and the political criticism & defence around the same.
One of the best ways to have a bird’s eye view of the Developmental Discourse is to devour through the various developmental indices and establish an advanced level of awareness & appreciation around them to be able to apply them to weave a cogent, comprehensive, consistent narrative.
ReTHINK INDIA Institute has thereby come up with an INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT INDEX of INDIA encompassing some 143 Indices spread across 29 odd categories clustered into 10 Broader Areas.This Integrated Index is available at www.rethinkindia.org/indiaidiStudents of Class 6-12
are thereby invited to create a team of peers, seniors & juniors of 10 members (at least one member from each grade)
along with one Faculty Coordinator (preferably Economics)
making it a Development XI to Decipher this inherent Dynamics of Development & present their findings in a power-packed presentation weaving an integrated narrative to this effectin front of a Grand Jury tentatively on
World Development Information Day, 24th of October which incidentally would be commemorated as the Festival of Diwali in India.
