MGIS founded in 1998, is the only Public-Private Partnership model between the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Municipal School Board and educationalists, Dr. Pascal Chazot and Dr. Anju Chazot.

MGIS also has an ongoing educational exchange with the prestigious French high school in Paris, Lycée St Germain en Laye, since 2008. The Ecole Lemon school located in the suburbs of Paris has implemented the MGIS pedagogy since 2017.

Solutions: The University is implementing and enforcing environmental regulations, promoting sustainable practices, and investing in renewable energy sources. The University has taken an initiative to protect the surrounding environment through a Waste Management Mechanism for which the University has been following the rules and regulations of the “Government of India” related to Waste Management since before 2015. Subsequently, in view of the National mission of Clean & Green Environment University is following the guidelines of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
